Miracles in Mexico

Hello all,                                                                                                                  Feb. 11, 2019 I have thought several times that my mission could be a movie. It is hilarious, touching, heartbreaking, and uplifting. I think that by now it has probably gotten a couple of Oscar nominations, if I do say so myself. February 4, 2019 Happy Monday everybody! This week was a busy busy week which is just the best. There were so many awesome and crazy things that happened that as we were trying to figure out what we were going to say to our families today, I had no clue where to start! So I guess I will have to tell you guys about the stuff that most recently happened. :) An adorable little puppy I fell in love with! Yesterday was Sunday and it is my favorite day. Varinia and her family came to church again, as well as Cornelio! So great to be with them, they are progressing great. We went in the evening with Varinia and had a great lesson. Pretty intense. And with them, the Spirit is always just so strong. I love this family so much. We were talking about bapstism, because Varinia is afraid. Of course, it is a big change. But vale la pena. January 28,2019 Happy Monday! Every week I am amazed that we are already starting another week. Whaaat. Hna Miranda and Hna Roe preaching to the tortoises in Mexico :)  This was a great week! Just so many blessings, a ridiculous amount. So much work to do out here in Acayucan, and so many souls to invite. My dear companion and me posing in front of the big Catholic Church here in Mexico Tortos de Pollo.......truly the yummiest!!! A fun thing that we have been doing is really focusing on referrals, and especially referrals from the youth. What we have been doing is putting into a small package a pamphlet, small card with our info, and a chocolate bar or a pulparindo. And we have been "gifting" them to members so they can "gift" it to someone who doesnt't know the gospel. It has been a success!
