Do What You Can

February 26, 2018 Holy cats people happy Monday again! The days take 6 years and the weeks take 2 minutes.  We had the baptism of Isis! It was great. She is seriously going to help out with this branch so much, and affect future generations. Love her so much! Even if she was crying for a little while because she thought she looked ugly in her jumper. Haha bless her. Excited for her and for this branch! We get a lot of support from this branch. They feed us lunch every day, which is great. Even though sometimes I just want a good old fashioned lunch that Mom always made me.  Got to go play sport with these Sisters in another area today! So fun for Pday! Something that I love to learn and teach over and over again is how we are a  fallen people. Imperfect. Incomplete. But through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we are given grace sufficient for our needs and so much more. When people hear this, it just resonates with them. For example, our dear investigator Mar...

We are sweltering down here as usual. This past week consisted of a lot of walking, working, walking and working. Lucky for us the two go together perfectly! First things first, shoutout to the Herzog fam! I was looking at a map of the area here and there is a street names Jesus Silva Herzog! Haha I showed my compa and she was like, "Herzog? Que tipo de nombre es eso?" And I was like, homie, the best kind of name. So be proud Herzog fam, Mexico named a calle after you! 3 friends all serving missions!!! Emily ...

All is well down here in my corner of Mexico. Learning new things every day. Had to say goodbye to my mama in the mission, Hermana Huber is off to Ciudad del Carmen. We had a good time together, gonna miss that gringa. And now I am here with my second mama in the mission, Hermana Villarreal! Everything is going smoothly. She told me she's never had a north american comp before, so this will be a learning experience for the both of us.  Love teaching the people of Mexico!!! This past...

Hello All,                                                                                                                   February 5, 2018 I want to share a quick experience that happened last Monday evening. We were with Guadalupe, Gabriela, and Guadalupe. (One Guadalupe is a guy, the other is a girl.) It was a wonderful lesson, the Spirit was so strong. At the end of the lesson, we asked Guadalupe, (the guy) to help us with the prayer. He was so nervous, and so we helped him with the prayer. Even though he was just repeating the words that H. Huber whispered to him, the Spirit was unbelievable. God LOVES to hear from His children. La verdad. I got to help Gabriela, his girlfriend, the next lesso...

Raining blessings

January 29, 2018 Happy Monday! Currently just sitting here with a heart full of love for all yall. Love you all so much! This week has been one for the books. We have been seriously so blessed. We have currently 5 fechas (committed to baptism), but I want to focus on two of them. Isis (17 years old) is just eating up the gospel. She comes to every activity, and  on Saturday  we had a baptism for the son of Diana, and she cried. She felt the Spirit! Her fecha is for the  24th of February . She is so ready to receive the gospel. And we also have Guadalupe (19). She is such a dear friend. We met her through the English classes and piano classes. She has been reading the Book of Mormon and is so ready to receive everything as well. She is more shy than Isis, but she feels the truth. We are so blessed down here.  Braving the heat with Sister Huber Goofballs! Last night we had a Noche de Hogar at the house of a member, and 33 people showed up! We were cram...
