This week has been one for the books. We have been seriously so blessed. We have currently 5 fechas (committed to baptism), but I want to focus on two of them. Isis (17 years old) is just eating up the gospel. She comes to every activity, and on Saturday we had a baptism for the son of Diana, and she cried. She felt the Spirit! Her fecha is for the 24th of February. She is so ready to receive the gospel. And we also have Guadalupe (19). She is such a dear friend. We met her through the English classes and piano classes. She has been reading the Book of Mormon and is so ready to receive everything as well. She is more shy than Isis, but she feels the truth. We are so blessed down here.

Last night we had a Noche de Hogar at the house of a member, and 33 people showed up! We were crammed in such a small space. There was so much Spanish flying around everywhere and I was so exhausted trying to keep up with it all. After I was just tired and a little frustrated. We were walking and this truck drove past. In it was Sophia, a little girl that I had taught in the classes of english! She is 5 I think, and she was waving her arm off in the truck! She was so excited to see me. I felt so grateful. I left an impression, even though I couldn´t say much. I didn´t need to.
This morning we had a surprise breakfast for Hermana Huber! This week she turns 1! We are so blessed with our elders around here. I have been chatting with them all week getting this put together. They cooked eggs and made salsa. They got so into it, it was hilarious. H. Huber was so happy. I put up a sign that said "Feliz 1 Año Hna. Huber" and wrote down quotes that we have. For example, "If you pray you get a cuter husband!" "Yeah, but money can fix that, not prayers!" Haha, it was great to have a family breakfast. Lots of laughs as usual. After we walked to the store and were dying on the side of the road because the rain here is super acidic so it gets in your eyes and you can´t see anything. We basically just cried on the side of the road. Oh well, these people already know we´re crazy.

There have been a lot of reminders this week that God is the one in control of everything. We have to be humble enough to accept His timing. Humility makes us stronger, not weaker. Don´t forget to smile. Don´t forget that you are still human, even though sometimes the weight upon your shoulders feels quite heavy sometimes. Never stop jumping in the puddles.
"When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."
Love you all! Hasta proximo lunes!
Hermana Roe
