The Power of Forgiveness
Happy Monday everybody! June 25,2018
Just a quick email. Things are going well! I love my compa dearly, she is absolutely wonderful. She is already a great missionary. I am so grateful for all the things that I am learning from her.
This week as I was reading in "Jesus the Christ" I read about prayer. I know that por medio de our prayers of faith and humility, God blesses us and guides us. I don't remember exactly what it said, but I read something along the lines of, It is well to know that prayer is not only composed of words. Words are insufficient, they only go so deep as our human organs. Prayer is made up of heart pumps and recognition of our need.
"Without our prayers, God would still be God. But without praying, we cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

| Sunday morning breakfast! I love that she has that pic of Beckett and me cooking right beside her plate! |
Just never forget that God is willing to listen to our prayers and will always answer and send little miracles. Like on Sunday when I felt terrible that we maybe were´nt going to have investigators in church but we got there and Hermano Damían was there, the husband of hermana Luz. (Luz is member, Damían no.) God will always send miracles, are we able to recognize them? What is a miracle composed of for you?

I love you all!! Grateful for my companion, for the members here, and for all the people that we have the privilege of meeting here. The gospel has been restored, I know that this is true. And I love it. Hasta luego!
Forgiveness
Hola everybody! Happy 4th of July this week!! July 2, 2018
Sister Neill F. Marriott said, "When we give our heart to the Father and the Son, we change our world- even if the circumstances around us do not change. We draw closer to Heavenly Father and feel His tender acceptance of our efforts to be true disciples of Christ. Our discernment, confidence, and faith increase."
This is going to be a quick email, but I just wanted to say that sometimes forgiveness isn't easy. We sometimes want an apology, or we want to think that we haven't done anything wrong. But sometimes the only thing that we can do is be the bigger person, and commit to be better. To keep trying, even when the whole world is falling apart. We don't have to carry around the weight the sadness that comes from being wronged. Just keep trying.
This week we had many blessings! We were able to teach the entire family of Flor again to put another goal of the bapstism of Flor, her (hopefully soon to be) husband Ricardo, and the the sister of Flor, Gladys. So excited to get to work hard with them! I love this work with all my heart and am so grateful for the mercy of God in my life. Love you all!! Enjoy the fireworks for me!
Love, Hermana Brenna Roe
