March 18, 2019 Happy Monday!! I hope that everybody is doing great! This past week there were a couple of awesome things that happened!  First, Alex! He got baptized on Sunday! He is a kid that is going to be turning 12 soon that the hermanas have been working with for a while. These past 3 weeks we have been working with him and his family, and we invited him to have his baptismal interview and see if he was really ready to be baptized. (he totally was, he just wasn't sure still) So we had the interview, and finishing up the interview he came on and said, "On Sunday then." haha so he got baptized on Sunday! I am so proud of him, he is such a smart kid. Alex got baptized! So proud of him! Celebratory Cake for the baptism boy! Yay Alex!!! Remember last week when I said that we had kind of hit a wall and then we contacted a couple of people? So guess what happened with them? We went with one of them, Ernesto, who is a kid of 11 years, and his dad is Jor...

March 11, 2019 Happy Monday! How is everything?  Can I get a WOOHOO because the heat is coming back! Hermana Holman, Herbertson and Roe March 2019 Zone Conference This was a fun week, we got to have our zone conference! We celebrated because we have been making some major progress out here and completing with our goals! So we are all excited. For example, we had a goal of 150 baptisms in 1 transfer, and we referred to this goal as the unicorn named Steve. Once we found Steve (in October) we were on the search for Floyd, the golden dragon. We found Floyd last transfer! (200 baptisms) So Presidente called for a few conferences to talk about goals, what we need to improve, and what it is that we should shoot for now. We are now working towards 200 baptisms in 1 month, now just a transfer. We are looking for the dodo, Tom. (Short for Tamayo, an Elder that everyone loves that is from my generation)  Drinking honey and a little bloody nose. Good times, good times! ...

Feb. 25, 2019 Hello everyone, Goodbye to Iris Happy Monday everybody! Hello from Coatzacoalcos! I am now in my 4th area, and with someone muy especial...my granddaughter! Hermana Benavides! And I will get to be here with my daughters as well, Hermana Tovalino and Hermana Hebertson! So we are excited to have all the family around.  = Look at this beautiful cake! Hermana Mena made us as a going away treat!!!! Goodbye Camila and Varinia! This is a special youth from our ward, Diana I had to say some long goodbyes to Acayucan. I love that place so much, I left a piece of my heart there. Something that I just wanted to focus on was a sweet moment we had with Camila, Cristian, and Varinia. We had a lesson with them earlier this week and at the end, Cristian said the final prayer. He said the most beautiful prayer! He was praying for us, and saying, "Thanks for the sisters, that they never give up and walk under the sun all day." And as he prayed, l...

Never Changing

February 18, 2019 Happy Monday! Not a whole bunch happened this past week, but I am sure that everybody has heard about the changes with communication with the family! I was absolutely shocked! All of the members were super excited for us.  T his is our convert, Cornelio!! He is full of faith and incredible! It's been an honor teaching Cornelio! Just love him! I realized that God really is never changing. He is always trying to help us to be more united as families and focus on His divine work. And I think this is no coincidence that these changes have been announced in the week of Valentine's day.  Yummy Breakfast today!!! We found these balloons in the street. Happy surprise. Hailyn and me! Isn't she so cute! She loves me and I her! God is a God of love and mercy. He is perfect. I loved getting to live a little with our ward in celebration of Valentine's day, a little bit of laughter and love helps our burden's be a little lighter. ...
