I don't know how God does it; but he just does it!

Happy Monday!! I hope that everybody is doing great! This past week there were a couple of awesome things that happened!

First, Alex! He got baptized on Sunday! He is a kid that is going to be turning 12 soon that the hermanas have been working with for a while. These past 3 weeks we have been working with him and his family, and we invited him to have his baptismal interview and see if he was really ready to be baptized. (he totally was, he just wasn't sure still) So we had the interview, and finishing up the interview he came on and said, "On Sunday then." haha so he got baptized on Sunday! I am so proud of him, he is such a smart kid.
Alex got baptized! So proud of him!
Celebratory Cake for the baptism boy! Yay Alex!!!

Remember last week when I said that we had kind of hit a wall and then we contacted a couple of people? So guess what happened with them? We went with one of them, Ernesto, who is a kid of 11 years, and his dad is Jorge. We had to teach Ernesto outside, and we taught him the first lesson on Tuesday. We had a great time, but I was kinda nervous that he wasn't really feeling it. There were a bunch of people who kept walking up and down the stairs we were sitting on (he lives in an apartment building) but I just kept hoping that he could feel the spirit. So we get to the end of the lesson and invite him to read the Book of Mormon and pray to find out if these things are true. And this adorable kid explains that he kept feeling chills as we explained things and he said, "I think I might end up believing."
I truly felt like crawling up on this couch and having a nap too!!!

I asked him why, and he told me, "Well, I don't think it's a coincidence that you guys showed up at my door! You found me." And I just could help but remember that we found him after every appointment fell, and we felt sad and we went over to those apartment buildings to visit an inactive member. They weren't there and so we contacted Jorge and Ernesto. They were the last people we were going to see, we didn't have them in our plans. We weren't even going to be close to where they live the day that we met them.

Enjoying my Malad City tshirt; thanks Grandma!!!

God knows were each one of His children are and He has them present in His heart and mind. I am so honored to be a small part of this work and be an instrument in God's hands.

This week I want to invite everybody to think instead of, "What do I want to do with my life?" try and think, "What does God want me to do with my life?" I love you all. Have a wonderful week! And woohoo because it is almost general conference!
