Long Goodbyes

Feb. 25, 2019
Hello everyone,

Goodbye to Iris

Happy Monday everybody! Hello from Coatzacoalcos! I am now in my 4th area, and with someone muy especial...my granddaughter! Hermana Benavides! And I will get to be here with my daughters as well, Hermana Tovalino and Hermana Hebertson! So we are excited to have all the family around.

Look at this beautiful cake! Hermana Mena made us as a going away treat!!!!
Goodbye Camila and Varinia!

This is a special youth from our ward, Diana

I had to say some long goodbyes to Acayucan. I love that place so much, I left a piece of my heart there. Something that I just wanted to focus on was a sweet moment we had with Camila, Cristian, and Varinia. We had a lesson with them earlier this week and at the end, Cristian said the final prayer. He said the most beautiful prayer! He was praying for us, and saying, "Thanks for the sisters, that they never give up and walk under the sun all day." And as he prayed, little Camila grabbed my hand and held on. And I just really had to keep myself together, because I love that family so much. They will have a reserved spot in my heart for a long long time.
Goodbye to recent converts!
Goodbye to baby Lupita

I am so grateful for the Barrio Villalta. There were so many miracles that I was able to witness there, every day a miracle. I really love the work. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be here in Coatza now, back at the beach. I am still in the state of Veracruz, but on the coast now. About 2 hours from Acayucan.
I'll miss Acayucan so much!!!

I don't have all that much time today, but just know that I love you all and that they Lord loves you too. He trusts us to make the right decisions and forgives us when we don't. He knows when it hurts to say goodbye and also knows that we are meant to progress and learn new things. Have a great week!

Love,
Hermana Roe
