The Lord's Hands
Hola all! Feb. 12, 2018
Happy Monday otra vez from the land of mosquitoes. All is well down here in my corner of Mexico. Learning new things every day. Had to say goodbye to my mama in the mission, Hermana Huber is off to Ciudad del Carmen. We had a good time together, gonna miss that gringa. And now I am here with my second mama in the mission, Hermana Villarreal! Everything is going smoothly. She told me she's never had a north american comp before, so this will be a learning experience for the both of us.

| Love teaching the people of Mexico!!! |
This past week I don't have too much to report. Hermana Huber was super sick part of Tuesday evening and then all Wednesday, she got a fever. (I graciously gave her haha) So we were confined to the house all Wednesday until that evening, when we left for Villa so she could renew her visa. Didn't get back until the next day.
We've been working hard! Friday and Saturday we worked hard to find some new investigators because we only had one for the week. (The mission goals are to have 12 news every week) We were super blessed and received/found 15 news for this week! Only one less than last week. Working hard to find those people that are ready to enter in to the reino de Dios.

I just want to testify in this email that everything is in the Lord's hands. As we open up the door and allow Him to enter into our hearts, He will smooth out all our sharp edges with His scarred hands. Truly Jesus Christ is my strength. I am never alone, because He's been here. He has walked these same dirt paths. And He is willing to walk them again and again. He is willing to kneel down beside me in fervent prayer, again and again. Jesus Christ lives. His gospel has been restored to the earth. Oh how I love The Good Shepherd.

Said goodbye to 2 elders from this area as well this morning. Elder Ruiz and Elder Peña. They are only one cambio ahead of me here in the mission, so I will get to see them one more time before I leave. I learned a lot of important lessons from them! Excited to work those with these wonderful new missionaries here in Zapata. The works rolls forth here.
Love you all! Keep on keeping on.
Hermana Roe
