True Love

Happy Monday!

This week was absolutely crazy amounts of heat, but it was great! Something super amazing happened!

A couple of weeks ago we were just walking away from contacting Guadalupe (email from last week) and when we reached the corner of the street and young man and his sister approached us, saying, "Hermanas!" They introduced themselves to us, saying htat they were inactives. Their names are Wilbert and Isabel. This week we went to visit them, and you guys, this family is pure gold. It is literally meant to be. We had to find them. or i guess that they found us. They are amazing! We talked and talked! They used to get visits form the elders, back when this area was just for elders.
Looking good on pday!
Hermana Luna and me. She lives in the same place as Brenna.
But it has been a few months, almost a year, since they received a visit. The other kid in the family is named Ricardo, and he turns 9 years old next Monday. We are looking forward to working with this family and helping Ricardo prepare for his baptism! It was crazy, an RM facetimed with them when we were there, so we got to say hey! Later we ate together and just enjoyed getting to know this wonderful family. So excited to see them again this week!
Love working together with Hermana Tovalino! Such a wonderful experience!

I know that God leads our footsteps. That he will always guide us, and give us innumerable amounts of blessings for every step we take just trying to be a little bit more like his son Jesus Christ. The church is true, and this is the work of God. how blessed I am to be a part of it. I love you all! Happy birthday to Holland this week! Eat all of the cake for me. Until next Monday!
Safe to say Holland loved her 1st Bday!
It's my day thinks sweet Holland!

TRUE LOVE
                                                                                                                 July 31, 2018

Happy Tuesday! Couldn't write on Monday, so you know what that means...I am training again! My dear Tovalino is opening area because she is absolutely amazing and so strong, so she has left her mamá here stranded on the island. ;) But yesterday I got to receive Hermana Hebertson out here! She is from Virginia and is excited to get to work. Super blessed to be with her! I had to tell her that I haven't spoken english for a solid 7 months, so sorry if my english is terrible.
My new 'daughter' Hermana Hebertson from Virginia!
It'll be weird to speak English sometimes; haven't spoken it in 7 months!

Yesterday morning we got up super early to take a bus down to Villa to get our new companions. As we were in the bus hermana huber and hermana Villarreal (my mission moms) called me from the airport! oh how I love those hermanas. I can honestly say that I have changed and become a lot better because of them. Yesterday as we said goodbye (they both finished the mission), I felt that pure love that only comes from working alongside someboydy for weeks on end in the best work in the world. From knowing all their faults, hopes, fears, and sharing the good and bad of everyday. I am so happy for them, and grateful that I can continue here in the work for a while longer.
Hermana Luz is so so good to us. We love her!!!

I know that God always sends miracles for all the hours of diligent work we put in. On Sunday a woman walked into the church that told us that she always passd by and it called her attention, so she wanted to come in and learn more. Many of her family are Mormon, and she likes the organization of the church. She doesn't even know it, but she is a miracle. And I am grateful for all the miracles in my life! Excited for this new cambio and for the opportunity to work hard. Have a great week and I love you!

Love,
Hermana Brenna Roe
