Keep your Chin Up

Happy Monday everybody!!!                                                                                                        May 21, 2018

This week has been full of miracles, but before I explain, I would like to mention Jack LaFollete. Jack passed away recently, but I know that his example has impacted my life. He was a wonderful example of humility and diligence, I will never forget his sweet and unmovable testimony. Grateful for him and all his family.
Hermana Perez and Hermana Roe had a great Pday!

This week we were walking down the street in our fav fraccionmento Santa Ana when we contacted a man, his wife, and one of their children on their bikes. Their were just arriving from work. We contacted them like normal, and found out that they have 7 kids. They were super sweet and accepted an appointment. We had our appointment. It was one of the best ever. It was with the mom, Hermana Flor. She had already read the pamphlet about the restoration (that we had left with her a few days earlier). She told us that she saw it laying on the table and something told her, "Read it!" She explained to us the feelings of peace that had overcome her. She accepted a baptismal date for the 9th of June. She and 4 of her oldest children accompanied us to church on Sunday. When I asked her and we entered relief society if she had any questions, she just told us, "No, I am ok. I am going to learn as I go." She later returned to the church that night to get information about young mens camp in a couple of weeks, because her oldest son is going to go. She is all in, as well as her children. We haven't had the opportunity to teach her husband yet, but I know that if it's God's will, there's a way.
I saw these dolphins!!! Beautiful place.

I know that as we keep our chin up and keep talking and inviting even after so much rejection, God will place miracles in our path. Keep on venturing out of your comfort zone. Keep on getting up and going out there day after day, it is vale la pena.

I love you all! Keep on looking for opportunities to minister and love those around you!
