Never Gonna Forget It

Happy Monday everybody!                                                                                        June 10,2018

And happy final week of cambios! (Transfers) This week was a good one. The power went out for more than 30 hours in the entire island, so we were really toasty down here. Haha but the important part is that we lived. And the entire island was blacked out so we got to see the stars super clear!
What a beautiful day! Never gonna forget these boys saluting me from the font!

Thankfully the church has a great backup generator, so we were able to have the baptism of the 3 Ricardos! They were super excited, and it was nothing short of a miracle. They are part of the family of 7, we are hoping that all goes well with the parents getting married within the next couple of weeks and taking this awesome step like their kids have done. Literally so much has been going against this family, so we are so happy that they were able to make this step!
Gotta be one of my favorite pictures of Bren so far!

Just wanted to say, people, put your trust in the word of God; not the word of Facebook. Or insta, or snapchat, or whatever app in out there right now. The opinions of the world almost cost this family their happiness. But we were blessed to have been able to pass by their house and talk to Flor, the mamá, and tell her exactly that. And we waited for them as they hurried to get dressed to go get baptized. God knows us and wants the best for us, but we have to do what is necessary to get the things out of our lives that take us far from Him. I invite everyone to join in on the 7 day fast from the apps. The Prophet already invited us. I am going on almost 7 months of fasting from my phone, and I have never been happier or healthier in all my life. I love you all!
Look at this huge snake!!! Don't worry, it's dead Mom!

Going to miss Hermana Rodriguez so much!!!!
LOVE HER!!!!

Never forget what is true happiness, helping others (and yourself) to come unto Christ. Never gonna forget little Ricardo de Jesús waving and saluting us from the baptismal font. Keep on keeping on! Love you!

So grateful we got to go to the temple because Hermana Perez is finishing up her mission! And it was her birthday!
Love,
Hermana Brenna Roe
