Time....give it like the Savior gave His!
Hola Hola! May 28,2018
This week we had 4 experiences with time that really touched me. I want to share them, because really truly, time is so important.
Flor is an amazing mother of 7 that is going to hopefully get married this week so that her and 3 of her kids can get baptized with her on the 9th. We passed by her house the other day and were talking about getting everthing ready so that she can get married, and she told us that this was super important to her. She has to get married, and she would like her kids to come but if they can't, ni modo. Still gonna do it. Then she asked us, "Are you two going to be able to make it? I would like to have you there. If you have the time." We quickly assured her that of course we are going to come. It was so cute when she invited us to come to the bapstism of her daughter, who will turn 8 in August. Hope I can see it.

Betsy is awesome. We contacted her in the park a few weeks ago but we hadn't seen her since and she never answered her phone. Por fin, we called one last time to set up an appointment. When she answered the phone (I was the one talking on the phone) I got so excited and so did she! We set up a cita and went and taught her. The spirit was so sweet there. There were a lot of distractions, but the spirit remained. At the end of the appointment we were leaving and so I gave her a hug and a kiss. She hugged me so tight, thanking us again and again that we had the time to come and teach. Excited to see how she progresses.

Delphina lives in the Isla Aguada (an otro isla that is part of our area) and is a RM. We decided to go to the other isla on Friday becuase we had a reference out there, and the stake president gave us Delphina's address. Don't know how we found her, but one of the first things she told us was, "I never thought you would cross the bridge and come find me!" It has been 4 years without a visit. She was so excited, we sat outside her little restaurant and sang "Asombro Me Da" and she marvelled that we took the time to travel all the way out there to see her.
Melva has troubles with her knees and can't walk very well. She hasn't come to church for 3 months because of her health. On Saturday we ate lunch with the relief society president, Hermana Betty. After eating Hermana Betty asked us to accompany her to visit Melva. I was absolutely amazed at the absolute love that Hermana Betty showed to Hermana Melva, explaining how she would come and pick her up (Hna Betty has 2 small children and her husband has to leave early for bishopbric meetings) and drop her off, no problem. As we sang "Asombro me da" (again) Melva cried and explained that now she understood that she couldn't give up, but is going to continue fighting. As she thanked us again for coming, I knew that the spirit was going to stay there in her home for a long time after.

I hope that we can live life in moments like the Savior did. Slivers of time, healing the sick and weak, teaching the path back to God, and atoning for all the world. May we always have a little bit of time for our brothers and sisters, because when we have time for them, we have time for the peace and power of God to enter our lives.
Mosiah 2:17
I love you all! Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Hermana Brenna Roe
