Just like Mosiah 18

Hi family and friends,                                                                                March 26,2018

There are so many things that happened this week that I don't even know where to start. Here we go.

BAPTISM. We had a very special Saturday. It was a moment when the fruits of our labors really came together, which was very gratifying as we hit the close of this past cambio. In total this past cambio, we had 27 baptisms. (between the 6 of us here in Zap) 8 of those baptisms were this past Saturday. We didn't have enough room in the church to accomodate all the people, so we had the baptism in the river! It was unreal. So amazing. One of those that got baptized was ours, Angel. I love that kid, he is so so sweet. Already invited us to his birthday in May haha. Miracles still exist!
I LOVE this boy, Angel. And what a spiritual experience having the baptism in the river!!!

CAMBIOS. We kind of did, kind of didn't have cambios. We are a trio now here in Zapata! Con la Hermana Sanchez. She is the Hermana from my generation. We are excited to have her here. Thinking that we can maybe get a branch missionary so that we can be 4 and do double the work. Exciting stuff!
Hermanas Sanchez, Villareal, and Roe are now a trio companionship!

That means that today we went to Villa to pick her up, and you always get to see a whole bunch of missionaries in the ADO for cambios. So I got to see the elders from my first cambio! I was so excited. I flagged Elder Peña down and we chatted for a while. I laughed so hard because after a few minutes he stopped me and goes, "Hermana Roe! You can speak spanish now!" Haha the blessings of Latina companions. Going to miss the elders that left, (Cardenas and Alcala) but it´s all good. Alcala told me that he is going to come to the states and we are going camping. haha
I finally got to see Elder Baugh!!!! He is one awesome, incredible missionary!!!
(Brenna and Josh went to Mountain Crest together!!!)

Just to end, I wan't to share the scripture that I got to select for the theme for this cambio. I don't have my english scrtiptures on me, so sorrry, it is in spanish.

D&C 103-36
"Toda victoria y toda gloria os es realizada mediante vuestra diligencia, fidelidad, y oraciones de fe."

For us English speakers:
7 of 8 new convert baptisms that happened Saturday!!! AMAZING!
D&C 103;36   All victory and glory is brought to pass unto you through your diligence, faithfulness, and prayers of faith.
Yes she ate it!!! Gross!!!

I love you all! The church is true! Grateful for days on the mission that make you so happy you can't stop smiling! Like miercoles, we got to put 4 fechas with some amazing people. There is nothing quite like somebody seeing you from afar and welcoming you into their home, saying that they were waiting for you. The church is true. And I love all of you.

Love, Hermana Roé
