Today I want to touch quickly on a fam that we have been teaching this entire cambio. The familia Zubieta. It is a big family, and it is the niños that we are focusing in, they want to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Especially little Angel! I love that little boy with all my heart. He came to church on Sunday and sat so quietly all through sacrament meeting. Such a great kid. (Angel, Diego, and little Natasha are siblings, and their cousins are Joselyn and Maria Fernanda)
Angel is right in front of me and the other ninos. I LOVE them so much!!!
This past week during one of our visits, the Spirit was so strong. We go there and have a lot of fun, because we love this family. (It is always the uncles and aunts and all the little kids) But they are struggling with progressing, the adults.
. So towards the end of the lesson last Tuesday, I felt the Spirit practically elbow me in the ribs, (gently of course) and I began to ask them how they felt about our visits. The uncles started explaining their feelings of peace and calm, how they noticed something different about the niños, etc etc.
Peppers anyone???
Our power went out again. Here we are chillin( NOT) til it goes on.
There is a scripture about how the Spirit will give you your words when you need them, all you have to do is open your mouth. This is exactly what happened this occasion. I was able to explain that all of these feelings that they had felt were not from us. They were there because we are authorized representatives of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to invite every person to come unto Christ. And even though we say we don't have time to remember Him (Church attendance) He NEVER forgets us.
I am so grateful for el Espìritu Santo that testified to every single word it placed in my mouth. The dad of the two girls told us later that when they get back from vacations (they left on Saturday) he is going to begin to put his life in order. Praying that he follows this sweet special spirit and does just that. Sometimes you just have to be direct. Sometimes you just have to look them in the eyes and ask them if they really believe that God can help them with their problems.
I love you all! Keep on loving life! And keep on looking to the Savior and our prophet hoy en día in all things!
Hermana Roe
