Courageous boys!! Alex and Bryan now baptized!

April 8, 2019

Happy Monday everybody!! I hope that everybody got to see general conference this past weekend, it was amazing! I love getting to listen to the Prophet. President Russell M. Nelson truly is a prophet of God.

Guess what? Today is the first day of my final transfer. Don't ask me how that happened. That came way too fast! Hermana Benavides got transferred to Carmen, I will miss her a bunch! I loved being her companion. She is a wonderful missionary. And, how many grandmas get to be companions with their grandchildren? Not many!
Hermana Benavides and I had a great time, she's a wonderful missionary! And who gets to be companion with their granddaughter!!! Not too many!

Eldon and me on our getaway during Spring Break.
So Bren remembers what we looked like when she was serving a mission!

Now I get to be with Hermana Melena, from Ecuador! We lived together before, I am excited to be with and learn from her! It will be fun to finish my mission with a friend.

Bryan, (Alex's cousin) got baptized on Sunday before the conference! I am so proud of him. I am surrounded by some amazing and brave people down here!
Bryan got baptized! Alex got baptized a few weeks ago! They are cousins!
We are so very inspired by their courage! They are examples to me.

I just love general conference. Something that I loved was President Nelson's plea for all of us to strengthen or obtain a testimony. Really, we cannot rely upon the testimonies and experiences of others. Today is the day, now is the time, to kneel down, and have a holier and higher conversation. Now is the time to open the scriptures and really ask, "Is this true? And if so, what am I willing to do?" I testify that the scriptures, the Book of Mormon, can and will change our lives as we study and apply its teachings in our lives.

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God has a plan for me. I trust God. I love Him.

I love all of you as well!! Have a wonderful week, and study, ponder, and pray what the authorities have taught us this past weekend. Until next Monday!

Love
Hermana Roe
