Holy Guacamole

¡Hola! How has everyone's week been? Good? Good.                                                     Dec 8,2017

I cannot believe that I am on week three here and the CCM! (week 3 in my horario) Loco craziness. I love it here, this place totally beats the Provo Mtc. I literally live in a neighborhood of missionaries. It is the bestest.
Beautiful grounds of CCM
The view outside my door!!! A neighborhood of missionaries!!!

There have been so many things this past week and yet it feels like everyday is the same. I am so blessed to be here and to be surrounded my people I love all the time. I am also really stoked to fly out to Villahermosa and be able to walk around the city and chat with God's niños.

Last week the temple was great! So so beautiful and unique. I get to go back one more time before I leave here, so I will be sure to take pics.
LOVE it here!!!
My Stocking, my ornament from Cheyenne and my tree!

Something that has really stood out to me this past week is the purity and power of the Priesthood. I am blessed with my district. Sunday H. Wixom, (my companion) was still feeling really ill and she received a blessing. So simple yet so strong. I could feel God's love for her. The next morning H. Gunnell and H. Becerra also received blessings, and once again I knew for a certainty that God is with us. I am the only Hermana in the district that hasn´t gotten a blessing yet haha. I told the elders that maybe the day or week before we all go our separate ways I will ask for one. I love my wonderful and hilarious district.

God is so good to me. He is with me, I am under His guide and His protection for these next 18 months. I have been blessed to be able to learn more about myself and the plan God has for me in this past week than I have ever before. Last week in the temple I was pondering and praying in the beautiful celestial room. I was promised that as I worked my very hardest and gave all of my time to learning, studying, and helping others, that the Holy Ghost would be my third companion and would be with me to lead me, guide me, and walk beside me.
Hermana Wixom and me emailing home!!!

God works in promises. Not maybes or what ifs. So as I grow to love my work, and to love the beautiful people of Mexico, I know I will be and have already been a recipient of those blessings associated with God's promises. I love you all and don't forget to "Live after the manner of happiness" 😊 Love you all!

p.s. every time I say Holy Guacamole my maestra(s) always think it is hilarious.

Hermana Roe

I have a list of funny inside jokes/stories inside my journal but of course I left it it my casa. Derp der derp. Anyways something funny.

1. So we have a dear elder by the name of Elder Scanlan. His Grandmother ordered him a pie or something from the online store and we were all going to eat some for cena.
DO NOT EAT PIE BEFORE INSPECTING IT. Lol moldy pie people, moldy pie. I escaped this tragic incident, but others did not until it was too late.

2. Look up "Ocho Vasos al dia" on youtube.

3. My comp forgot to take a towell into the bathroom for her shower and so she was yelling through the bathroom door for me to bring her one and I just said, "Well, looks like you´re just gonna have to streak." It was hilarious, she was terrified.

4. My twin in the district is Elder Morgan, except he is cooler because he can moonwalk. He is the zone leader as well. Bless him.

5. Every single time a firework goes off (every 2 seconds) we are all simultaneously reminded of Hunger Games.

6. Elder Bradshaw has to hold a chair in order to memorize things. It is the bestest.
