One month in!!!

1 month in!!!                                                                                                             Dec. 20,2017

Holy guacamole I cannot believe that tomorrow marks one month since I entered the CCM! It has flown by. So so fun.

This past week has been a blast! Definitely full of laughs and a lot of pathetic Spanish. First I have to tell you all a funny story. This past Saturday I think H. Wixom and I were teaching ¨Ruby¨ and I was in the middle of bearing my testimony. My spanish was flowing and I was feeling really good. All of a sudden I look at H. Wixom and she just has this terrified look on her face. She points to me and just starts going, ¨Hermana Roe! Hermana Roe! Un araña!¨ I have never gotten up so fast in my life. I had a spider crawling on me! I screamed and ran all over the park hahaha
Thankfully it wasn´t one of the huge ones that we have here, but it was terrifying nonetheless. Afterwards we were laughing so hard for about 5 minutes. Then I offered the baptismal invitation hahaha.

This past week was great though! Last Thursday we had TRC. One of the volunteers we taught was Abram. Oh how I love this person. We were chatting and I asked him why he volunteered to come and listen to us today. He explained that he was missing the Spirit in his life and that he wanted to feel it. We were able to share scriptures and testimonies, and the spirit was so so strong. At the end of the lesson, he offered the closing prayer. He prayed so strongly for Hermana Wixom and I, it was so sweet. Truly these people are the light of the world.
Our beautiful sunsets here!
Love this beautiful temple!!!

Then the next guy we taught told me about a thousand times that by the time I went home I would be mexican, so that was nice hahaha

The Church is true! I am so grateful for the temple, and the wonderful people I am surrounded by every day! Love you all and Merry Christmas!!

1. Latinos asking us to take pictures for them, so we were going to but then we quickly realized that they actually wanted pics with us. haha so awkward

4. The hermanas (my comp and I and H. Becerra y Gunnell) hiding in random places waiting forever to scare each other.
